Several people have experienced the word “rejection” This hurts a lot. Rejection is the act of denial or non acceptance of someone or something. An individual can be rejected by friends, colleagues and relatives. This makes such person feel hurt. This might make the individual isolate him/herself from others. This can affect one in many ways if it is not quickly dealt with.

TAKE TIME TO PROCESS YOUR FEELINGS (PAINS)

The first thing to do when dealing with rejection is to take time and process your feelings. We are humans, so we have emotions. At times we feel good or bad. Struggling with pains is not easy. Take time to process the way u feel at the moment. Rejection brings bad feelings and negative vibes. Give yourself time to let out the bad energy so u can move on. Have a quiet or leisure time to do this. This first step helps in dealing with rejection. Feelings are part of humans, it can’t be removed. Respect how u feel, take time to process everything.

LISTEN TO YOUR INNER SELF AND EMBRACE WHO U ARE

When we find ourselves in a situation of being rejected. It is better we embrace our individuality and listen to our inner self (the mind). We are the real lovers of ourselves. Accepting who u are is a great part of your life. When you do that, you will not be ashamed and not allow rejection take control of your feelings. When u are certain that u are beautiful soul who has value. It will help u to overcome the pains of rejection.

REVIEW POSSIBLE REASONS FOR YOUR REJECTION

There are many factors that can lead to one being rejected. Review those factors and their causes. Work on these factors in order to avoid any form of rejection in the future. Examine your weakness so that it becomes your strength. When u become stronger in that area, no one will use it against you later in life. In order to deal with rejection, check the cause and let it be uprooted. This helps in dealing with rejection.

STAY POSITIVE

Staying positive helps a lot, drive away bad energy or negativity. It help against the feelings of being rejected. Because negative vibes will only hurt u more. Positive vibe is better.

BE WITH PEOPLE WHO VALUE YOU AND NOT MAKE YOU FEEL REJECTED

This is very crucial, it is advisable to surround yourself with people that value your personality. This also helps a lot. When u are with people that know your worth and value, u will have no feelings of rejection. Stay away from friends that makes u feel bad not loved. Attract the right people that will not make u feel any regrets.

GET BUSY WITH THINGS THAT WILL PREVENT YOU FROM DWELLING IN REJECTION

When u are occupied with other things, u won’t have the time to think of being rejected. Get busy with things u love doing. It can be anything, focus your energy more on it. When u do so, u will loss gradual focus on thought such as rejection. This will help in giving attention to useful things other than the feelings of being rejected.
